Plums

Replace a handful of blueberries with just one plum and get the same amount of free-radical busting antioxidants, helpful in muscle recovery for its anti-inflammatory abilities. The juicy, stoned fruit is emerging as a new superfood after a study out of Texas compared the antioxidant content of several fruits against blueberries.
Plums came out on top among other stoned fruits like nectarines and peaches. And plums come cheaper too. For the average price of $2, you can get four servings of plums versus just two servings of blueberries – a plum choice for penny-pinching gym-goers.
