Her
journey: Determined to ward off the “freshman 15,” Deanna started working out in college, right around the time her cheerleading aspirations started to get serious. After hitting the gym, this two-time National Cheerleading Champion managed to gain the weight she wanted: lean muscle.
Her role model: Without hesitation, she says, Alicia Marie is her inspiration in the weight room. When asked why, Deanna recalls that Alicia Marie has graced the cover of Oxygen four times over the years. “Plus, she looks amazing!” Deanna adds.
Her workout: Deanna prefers to keep a toned and lean figure. To achieve this, she combines high reps and low weight. To help lean out and keep muscle at bay, she adds four intense days of cross training for 45-minutes.
