Future of Fitness

Oxygen’s cover girls are strong, healthy role models. Do you have what it takes? Get motivated, and you may just be the next Future of Fitness.

Petra Onhajzerova

Home: Bethlehem, PA
Gig: Student
Age: 24 Height: 5’8” Weight: 130 lbs

Her journey: Born in the socialist regime of Slovakia, Petra says there was little opportunity to enjoy organized sports. “Especially for girls,” she recalls. Her foray into fitness started when she moved to the United States five years ago; her husband was her inspiration.

Her workout: An organized and intense five-day split keeps this European beauty leaned out and strong, working each muscle group once per week, hitting calves twice and abs every other day to keep toned.

Motivation: Petra gets herself in gear with her favorite snack of rice cakes and a light spreading of peanut butter and jelly.

Thoughts that keep her going strong at the end of a workout: Not one for taking the easy road, Petra says music lyrics, like those to Madonna’s “Intervention,” keep her focused on her goals. “Music drives me to push myself more,” Petra says.
