improved stamina in the gym, better lower-body conditioning, and
enhanced core strength to name a few. But for every twenty checks in the
workout “pros” column, I can add two to the “cons”: namely, aches and

Some people have no business at a fashion show. I’m one of them. Case in point: check out the grungy denim shirt I wore to a recent event
where everybody else was in ball gowns. Assistant editor, Kirstyn
Brown, and I were invited to The Heart Truth Fashion show that took
place at a very shi shi venue in downtown Toronto on March 8. The annual
celebrity-filled affair supports the Heart & Stroke Foundation of
Canada to raise awareness about the surprising top killer of women:
heart disease and stroke. -
